Buildings

To make your ranch ever so slightly more complete, you can buy buildings from the contractor in Ridechapel. Each building has its own function.

Indoor arena

You can only build 2 indoor arenas on your ranch and you can buy them from the contractor in Ridechapel. Building the first indoor arena costs 100,000 coins and takes 7 days.

Features

With an indoor arena, you can train cheaper than without one of your own. This is because you get 5 coins off the lesson price. The lesson prices shown when registering still includes the 5 coins pony club arena rent. Only when you take the lesson will the 5 coins discount be deducted. In addition, an indoor arena allows you to train faster than an outdoor arena. In an indoor arena a training takes 1:40 minute (100 seconds), in an outdoor arena it takes 2:00 minutes.

Expansions

You can also expand the number of indoor arenas by buying this extension from the contractor. Building a larger indoor arena costs 300,000 coins and its construction takes 14 days.

Outdoor arena

You can only have one outdoor arena built on your ranch by purchasing one from the contractor in Ridechapel. Building an outdoor arena costs 35,000 coins and takes 4 days to build.

Features

With an outdoor arena, you can train cheaper than without one of your own. This is because you get 5 coins off the lesson price. The lesson prices shown when registering still includes the 5 coins pony club arena rental. Only when you take the lesson will the 5 coins discount be deducted.

Expansions

You can expand the outdoor arena for 25,000 coins. Your outdoor arena will then be bigger. Expanding the outside arena also takes 4 days of construction.

Lunging circle

The lunging circle is the place on your ranch to train young horses. You can build a lunging circle on your ranch as soon as you can get to the contractor in Ridechapel, this can be done as soon as you complete level 3. Building a lunging circle costs 25,000 coins and takes 3 days.

Features

The lunging circle has 2 functions in the game. If you don't have a lunging circle yourself, you can rent one. To rent a lunging circle, visit this page.

Skill training (maxing)
You can train your foal's skills until the horse is 1 year old. This is because a foal is not born with its maximum skill points; the skill bars are usually around 50% at birth. By training the foal's skills in a lunge circle, which is also called 'maxing', you can train the skill bars to 100% so that the foal will have the maximum number of skill points.
As soon as a foal is fully trained/maxed, it automatically disappears from the list of the lunging circle. If one or more bars of a horse are not maxed out, these specific bars start at 0% for an offspring of that horse. Foals of horses not fully maxed are therefore more work to train to 100%.

Schooling
When a horse is at least 3 years old, you will be able to school your horse before you can start training it. You can do this in the lunging circle. A horse must have 10 successful schooling sessions before the horse is schooled. On the horse profile, you can see how many times your horse has been successfully schooled.

To be schooled, the horse must meet the following requirements:

  • Stabled
  • Hunger at least 20%
  • Thirst at least 20%
  • Healthy (i.e. not sick)
  • Not resting
  • Not already schooled
  • Not pregnant
  • Be yours or borrowed with train rights
  • Be fully tacked up
  • At least 3 years old

Muck heap

The muck heap is the place on your ranch where your horses' muck ends up after you have mucked out the stables. The muck heap is standard on your ranch. It is important to muck out the stables regularly to keep them clean. Each time you muck them out, you remove 2kg of manure from the stall.
There can be a maximum of 100kg of manure on a normal muck heap. When your muck heap is full, you have to empty it before you can muck out your stables again. Emptying the muck heap costs 500 coins.

Expansion

You can enlarge your muck heap by buying an extension with pluscoins. Each time you expand your muck heap, you gain 100 kg of space. You can expand the muck heap up to 500 kg. Emptying the muck heap always costs 500 coins.

Paddock

There is a paddock on your ranch at the start of the game. You can build up to 7 paddocks on your ranch, giving you a total of 8 paddocks. A paddock can be built at the contractor in Ridechapel for 20,000 coins and takes 2 days to build.
If you have your horse in the paddock, you don't have to feed your horse. Your horse can eat unlimited grass in the paddock. However, you do have to fill the water through in the paddocks as long as you don't have automatic water troughs.

Features

When your horse is in the paddock, the following happens:

  • Your horse's health goes up if the horse is in the paddock and unhealthy. For every 4 hours, health increases by 5%. For a horse aged 25 years or older, health does not increase.
  • Your horse's happiness goes up when the horse is in the paddock, per 4 hours +5%. Happiness never drops below 0%.
  • The coat and hooves decrease when your horse is in the paddock, per 4 hours -5%. The coat and hooves never drop below 0%.
  • Your horse's hunger goes up when the horse is hungry. Hunger goes up 5% per 4 hours.
  • Your horse's thirst goes up when the horse is thirsty. Thirst increases by 7% every 4 hours.
  • Every 4 hours, a horse drinks 10% from the water trough in the paddock. All horses in 1 paddock drink from the same water trough.

Expansion

There are several expansions for your paddocks available in the game.

  • Additional paddock spaces -> It is possible to buy additional paddock spaces with pluscoins. Each paddock has room for 4 horses by default. By buying additional paddock spaces, you can put more horses in a paddock.
  • Automatic drinking troughs -> You need to fill the water troughs in the paddock regularly, because your horses need to drink. It is possible to buy automatic water troughs for the paddock with pluscoins. That way, you don't have to fill the water troughs anymore and your horses always have water.

Ranch house

The ranch house is the central place on your ranch. When you are just starting out, your ranch house will consist of a caravan. There are several extensions available for your ranch house. You can give your ranch a name by clicking on 'ranch'.

Features

Your ranch house gives you information about your game and allows you to customise a few things related to your ranch. In addition, you can change the ranch type in your ranch house and indicate whether other players are allowed to muck out your stables or not. You can find the following things there:

  • Number of foals bred
  • Number of bred foals that have died
  • Breeding initial (the first time, you can set this for free via User Control Panel -> Settings)

Expansion

It is possible to make your ranch house bigger and more luxurious by expanding the ranch house. The more luxurious the ranch house, the more expensive the extension will be. It doesn't matter which level you are in or which extension your ranch house has already had to buy another extension.

Currently, the following expansions are available:

  • Bungalow - 95,000 coins with a construction time of 11 days
  • Villa - 325,000 coins with a construction time of 15 days
Going back to an earlier expansion is not possible.

Stables

The stables provide accommodation for your horses. In your stables, you can see which horses you have. Horses on loan are not visible in the overview, but they can be seen by other players in your profile.

When you are just starting out, you have 3 stables available. You can buy 3 more stables for 15,000 coins each from the contractor in Ridechapel. If you want more than 6 stables, you can buy another one for 200 pluscoins. There is no limit to the number of stables you can have.

If you reach a certain number of boxes, a new box block will be added to your ranch card. A new stable block can only be seen when you have bought a new building, extension or greenery for your ranch. The distribution of stable blocks works as follows:

  • 0-8 boxes: small stable block
  • 9-17 boxes: first stable block near the indoor arena
  • 18-32 boxes: second stable block near indoor arena
  • 33-47 boxes: first stable block behind paddocks
  • 48+ boxes: fourth stable block

Horse walker

The horse walker is the place on your ranch where you can work on the fitness of your horses. You can only build one horse walker on your ranch by buying one from the contractor in Ridechapel. Building a horse walker costs 50,000 coins and takes 4 days. If you don't have a horse walker, you can rent one on the 'rent' page. A training session in the horse walker takes 10 minutes.

Features

With the horse walker, you can train your horse's fitness. The horse gets +3% condition while being in the horse walker. Your horse's hunger and thirst will decrease by 5% when the horse is in the horse walker. It is important to train your horse's condition regularly if you want to go on trail rides. Every night, your horse's condition drops by 3%.

To put a horse in the horse walker, the hunger and thirst bars must be at least 50%. Also, the horse must be healthy and in its stall.

Breeding pasture

To breed foals, you need a pasture. You can build up to three pastures on your ranch. Building the first pasture costs 35,000 coins. The second and third pastures are more expensive; 70,000 coins and 125,000 coins, respectively. You can buy these pastures from the contractor in Ridechapel. You can also rent a pasture from the game if, for example, you don't have one yet or they're already full. You can do this via the top left menu, Rent and then Rent breeding pastures. Renting a pasture from the game costs 200 pluscoins. You can only put your own mares in the rental pasture, although you can put in a borrowed stallion.

You do not have to feed and/or give your horses water in the pastures, as your horses can get enough food from eating the grass and drinking water from the ditch surrounding the breeding pastures.
