On My Horsez, there are various ways of earning coins. On this page we explain the different ways.

Answering quizzeys

Quizzeys

Quizzeys are questions about horses and My Horsez, which are visible on the main page. Each correctly answered Quizzey earns you 50 coins. You can do a Quizzey every 3 minutes. How many Quizzeys you have answered in total and correctly can be found on a user's profile. Some questions are easy, others you might have to answer more often before you know the right answer.

Answering Quizzeys

To make answering Quizzeys easier, there are some fixed rules regarding the answers for open questions.
  • Numbers are never written out (8 instead of eight)
  • Always the shortest possible answer (Quarter instead of Quarter Horse)
  • The answer in open questions is never right/wrong, always yes/no

Finding the answers

You are not allowed to ask other players or team members for the answers. You should therefore look for the answers yourself. Below are some tips to make the search easier:
  • Find your answers on reliable/famous sites such as Bokt and Wikipedia.
  • Extract key words from a (long) quizzey instead of copying it completely.
  • Compare sites when you come across multiple possible answers, and go for the most common answer.
  • For questions about My Horsez, it's best to search on the Wiki.

Helping village residents

On this page in the village, you can do chores for villagers. Each time, you earn an amount of money. The amount depends on which job you do, and a bit of luck. The payout varies from 25 coins as the lowest payout for street sweeping, to 250 as the highest payout for helping at the vet. You can help villagers every 3 minutes.

Daily goals

At the Employment Office, you can earn coins by achieving the daily goal. For the easy task, you get 500 coins, for an average task 1,200 coins and for the difficult task 2,000 coins.

Random events

Sometimes a random event just appears on your screen, you have no influence on this. Some random events can earn you money. This can vary from a few coins to 10,000 coins! But beware, there are also random events that cause you to lose money. It is therefore wise to put all your coins in the bank. This is because if you have your coins in the bank, you cannot lose them due to random events.

Work as a stable hand

It is also possible to muck out other players' stables. To find a barn to muck out, go to this page. Here you can see the different stables you can help mucking out. Payment depends entirely on what the player is willing to give for it.

Completing levels

Upon completing each level, you get a cash amount. This increases from 500 coins. The higher the level, the bigger the reward. On the homepage, you can see which level you are at and which goals you need to achieve to get to the next level.

Competitions

If you ride your horse in a competition, you get a prize if you finish in the top 3.The amount of the prizes is determined by the level of the competition and which place in the top 3 you achieve.

Selling horses

You can sell horses at the Horse Market. The better your horse, the more you can ask for it. If you put it on the market for too high a price, nobody will want to buy it, but if you put it there for too low a price, you can lose a lot of money. By breeding smart, you can breed horses that are worth more.

Training

You can also train other players horses that have fewer stars than you. You get 10 coins per lesson. You can train other players via the ‘Train’ button. If you train yourself, your user stars will increase. This allows you to train more people.

Renting out buildings

This is only possible for pony clubs and riding school. Pony clubs earn 5 coins if someone trains in their indoor or outdoor arena. Riding schools earn 5 coins when someone takes lessons. You can change your ranch type in your ranch house.

My Horsez events

Sometimes My Horsez organises an event where coins or items can be won. These events are rare and depend on theme or season. The prices of the items vary greatly each time.

Outside the game

Besides the ways in the game itself, it is also possible for players themselves to offer services to other players in exchange for (plus) coins. These ways are at your own risk. Therefore, make proper arrangements in advance and keep proof. Most of these services are offered on the forum section trading.
Some examples are:
  • Training other members' horses.
  • Offering a stud, broodmare or breeding pasture.
  • Selling self-made pictures.
  • Taking part in competitions or lotteries organised by members.

Releasing horses in the valley

You can set your horse free in the valley, for this you will receive a minimum of 1,000 coins.

Grooming horses

Players who have little time or desire to groom their horse(s) can set up in the grooming area to have their horse groomed by others for a minimum of 10 coins. You can groom other players' horses here.

Pluscoins

The fastest way to earn coins is to buy pluscoins. Pluscoins cost real money. You can buy pluscoins by clicking the arrow next to your username and going to the Pluscoins page. From there, you can choose to buy, trade or spend pluscoins.
